Welcome to the new and improved ABC Cachets!

Not only have we added a LOT of cachets to our catalog, but we've made the site more user-friendly and added more features as well. Just for starters, you can:

  • Search the catalog,
  • Sort groups of cachets by Scott number, name or price,
  • View more information for each cover, and
  • Compare items side by side.

You also have the opportunity to check things out as a guest or you can register with our site. While it's not required, registering as a member of ABC Cachets is a good idea; you get more perks, more options, and it's FREE!

Scans for all covers are available, and we're working on getting each scan up on the site. Just contact Carolyn, and she will be happy to send a particular scan as you request.

We've tried to make things easy and simple. Take a look and have some fun.

Al “Tag” Boerger was a renowned philatelist and cachet maker. His daughter, Carolyn, is now offering his treasured collection to the public. At this time, she has organized and cataloged hundreds of diverse cachets: ABC, as well as Artcraft, Artmaster, Fleetwood and others.

If you're looking for something that isn't on the site yet, email Carolyn with the specific Scott numbers. She will research the catalog and get back to you. She just may have those elusive covers you've been seeking. There is a limited supply on some items, so first come, first served.

We're really excited to bring this new updated site to you, and hope to hear from you soon! Thanks for visiting ABC Cachets.

Special War of 1812 Offer

Al "Tag" Boerger had a special interest in this particular war, having lived near many of the war's historic sites. It can be seen in his wide variety of covers, cachets and papers found in his archives.

When you order any of our War of 1812 items, you will receive a FREE collection of Al's notes. This includes a Chronology of Battles, the events of the War of 1812 and two maps: Indiana in 1811 and the Vicinity of Tippecanoe Battle Field showing the march on November 6, 1811.
